PUR is an abbreviation of Polyurethane.
PUR adhesives do not require heat or long term pressure to form a bond between two materials.

PUR cross-linking is caused by the humidity in the air or moisture in the material to be bonded.

Unlike PVA’s there is no high heat used in production to cause expansion at different rates between surface material and substrate. This in turn can cause bowing, cupping and distortion of the finished product.

Unlike PVA’s there is no water to dissipate into the substrate to cause swell spots therefore you get a much better finish.

We can bond two materials up to 4500 long x 1380 wide, in various thicknesses if material permits.

With PUR we can bond a variety of materials together. High pressure laminates, acrylics and plastics, lacquered or galvanised metals, treated aluminium, Styrofoam, Ply and board materials etc.
